ABOUT THE ROLE In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional customer experiences to airline travellers. As a Check-In Crew member, you will be responsible for greeting customers with a smile, ensuring travel documents meet requirements, assigning seats, preparing and issuing boarding passes, managing baggage, assisting with gate boarding, and handling passenger marshalling and disruption management. Your efforts will make a significant impact on travellers’ journeys. Due to the dynamic nature of airline operations, this role requires flexibility. Rosters and working hours may be adjusted to align with operational requirements and any changes to the airline schedule including adhoc charters. YOUR DUTIES - Greet customers warmly at check-in.
- Process and verify travel documents.
- Assign seats and issue boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers.
- Assist with gate boarding procedures.
- Marshal passengers and manage disruptions as needed.

- Hourly base rate is $28.91 exclusive of shift penalties and superannuation.

ESSENTIALS - Professional appearance and demeanour.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
- Capability of obtaining an ASIC card (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays (e.g., Christmas).
- Capacity to undertake shifts between 4-10 hours per day.
- Ability to work shifts spanning 04:00 - 02:00
- Shift times are 4-hours in length and the current airline schedule is subject to change on short notice:
Mon - 09:00 - 13:00 or 22:00-02:00 Wednesday -02:50 - 06:50 or 15:45 - 19:45 Thursday - 03:45 - 07:45 or 18:10-22:10 Friday - 16:00 - 20:00
- Commitment to a minimum of 24 hours per fortnight.
- Availability for 2 weeks of full-time paid training.
